What a fabulous find! The cottage was simple, clean and really well equipped with a lovely indoor fireplace that we made good use of! The views are just outstanding and there's great walking around the farm - it's also very dog friendly! Monique who greeted us was very helpful and friendly. A great place to relax and unwind as there's no cell reception or wifi on the property - just a lovely place to stay!

We had a great stay at Cloud Cottage and would recommend it as a true off the grid experience

Impossible to put the magic of Cloud Cottage and its surroundings into words. It is the place you've always dreamed of, but better, because real. A panorama of lush, lumenescent green rolling hills, animals treated with dignity and compassion and given the freedom to roam the mountains, rockpools and waterfalls a short hike away, a cosy, architecturally exquisite cottage as your refuge. The absence of cellphone reception and electricity was the best part for us! Give your soul the ultimate gift and go to Cloud Cottage.

What a gem! Truly a great escape from the hustle and bustle. The cottage is very comfortable and the view is amazing and I can't even begin to describe the stars at night. Remember to bring your own towels and if you are no good at doing dishes with a bar of sunlight soap, some organic dishwashing liquid may be useful.

Lovely rustic cottage. The braai could be better placed or the access path made more user friendly. The access road for vehicles is a bit tight. Other than that, lovely views and birdsong to be heard. We'll be back.

This seriously was the best get-away we have ever been to. Sorry it took me so long to write a review. The cottage is smack bang in the middle of a mountain range. It has a waterfall & river..cascades. Interesting walks "loved the edges" "Looking down" "The view" "water puddles" with untouched unique indigenous vegetation & insect..reptile.. bird life forms. You get this feeling of being alone on this planet.. Lovely & much needed blissful feeling..away from all the hustle & bustle of City life..You will find all sorts of other animals there as well. Daily horse-riding is highly recommended. The cottage is ultra clean..equipped with really good quality bedding..very important.."crisp cotton" the best wooden furniture..You will certainly pick up some ideas there as to how to enhance Your own property cheaply with wood..Fire place & everything You may need to live there. kitchen..wood. Just take Yourselves.. Cooler box food..The property belongs to a very Sincere Earthy Couple & a 11 yr. old Young man. No electricity. Wonderful..Ohh.. Yes there is hot water:) You will love it so very much. Promise!
