My partner Map and I have been to many continents, visiting wonderful places like Livingston Montana, Kaikoura New Zealand and Arniston South Africa. To be honest, we've never been to a place like Cliff Lodge, De Kelders, for two reasons. Warm hospitality and excellent service in combination with a breath taking lodge.
Gideon, Jill, Nico and the crew, hopefully it won't be long before Map and I are back! |

It is very rare that there is absolutely nothing about our accommodation and service that we think could have been improved; in fact, Cliff Lodge is only the second such accommodation we can recall in our many years of travelling all over the world.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cliff Lodge to family and friends.

Even better than we had hoped - a magical setting, a fabulous room, warm hospitality, great advice on local restaurants etc, terrific breakfasts.
We are sad to leave and after 4 nights we could still stay longer - a huge thank you to Gill, Gideon, Nico and the team. We'll tell everyone about you back in England. |

This is paradise: the location, the hospitality, the whales playing in front of the balcony, the perfect cappuccino, the nice recommendations that Gill and Gideon are giving, the lovely and friendly service of Nico and the sunshine. (Not to forget the walk with the dogs).
We have already booked for next year!!! |
