Lovely tents. Completely self-contained, very clean & spacious. The manager on duty was exceptionally friendly & helpful, and checked in with the tents in the evenings to see if we needed anything. The setting is stunning with bushveld & Zwarberg foothills as a backdrop to the heated pool. We explored the walking trails along the river and into the hills, and found them well marked & maintained. Conveniently close (10-15 minutes drive) for a day's outing to the Rhino and Lion Reserve. I visited with my 5-year old daughter and 70-something mother and we all loved it. |

Stayed in the tented camp with a group booking and it was very nice. The only thing that was a bit of a problem was that a wedding was on at one of the venues and after retiring for the evening one could hear the music in the distance, which drowned the sounds of the bush at night and only once it was over, late of course could one enjoy the sounds of the bush and sleep peacefully. I think that for relaxation a mid week stay would be better as there are fewer weddings/parties going on. One can hardly believe a gem of a place on our doorseps without having to travel too far. |

I coordinate my own wedding Bushwillow did the catering! I had them spinning, on one day they had to cater for a picnic, sit down buffet and a boma desert.
The people were gr8! 'In a flash' was all we needed to say when we needed somthing or someone to help set up the day before. My husband said 10min before I arrived to make the big entrance they were still spinning! Thank you to all the people that help me the day before and on my wedding day. xxx |
