Went for a break from a hectic working schedule and what a surprise. Booked for two nights end up staying for four in the Heron Cottage. The friendliness of the people standing in for Doug and Jeff was amazing and contributed much to our wonderful experience at Bubuchle and Hogsback. We wanted to stay longer but had to get back home. My wife and I lost our hearts on this place. Will definitively be back. |

What an amazing holiday under the blue skies in Hogsback! We stayed in the Hadeda Cottage (3 adults) with two adults sleeping upstairs in single beds ... which was very comfy. At Bubuhle we were well taken care of by the friendly owners who clearly have a love for their part of the mountain. The land is well maintained without interrupting the natural beauty of the landscape. The garden area of the cottage was private, and one afternoon I even took a cat nap outside under the trees! We had easy access to all the shops, dining, downtown attractions, and walking trails. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Thank you to the owners for a magical holiday we will remember for years to come. |

Have stayed at many a place in many a country and this place is one that cant be beaten... we had 4 glorious days here in the most tranquil surroundings where privacy combined with peacefulness gave us a memorable time away from time away... our hosts Doug and John were a a delight and we will definately be coming back to our peace of paradise called the Loerie cottage, thanx guys :-) |
