We were in the Seaview room 1. The outside steps are steep and not well lit. My elderly mother fell as a result of being unable to see and missed a step. The bathroom is old fashioned and my elderly mother could not get in. Whilst a make shift step was made out of bricks, this was still a health and safety risk and no effort was made to give us a different room. In addition, the linen we were given on the first day was old. On day two we were told that they had run out of bacon for breakfast, which is sup posed to be standard with the meal. My experience was not of a 4 star rated guest house. It is 3 star quality. I will not be returning or recommending this guest house to others. My overall impression is poor (3 / 10)

Our second stay with Harry and his family and no complaints at all. Everything is clean and its location is excellent - well worth a visit.
