Blue Oyster is a beautiful 4 star Mediterranean style villa superbly positioned high on the ridge overlooking the picturesque Garden Route town of Knysna and offering breathtaking 180 degree views of the lagoon and the famous Heads, the majestic Outeniqua Mountains forming a shimmering backdrop.

A pervasive and calming ambience of timelessness welcomes guests. The villa is conveniently situated for easy access to the region’s many attractions, including the Knysna Waterfront, fine shopping and superb wining ‘n dining venues. We are located less than 2km from the main road and less than 3km from the Waterfront.

The road leading up to us is very steep, (this is why we have the views that we do) so guests can easily walk into town but may want to get a taxi back. Relax in front of a log fire, laze in the warm African sun at our poolside, watch the sail boats on the lagoon, or enjoy the spectacular views. Breakfast

A full English or Continental breakfast is served in our breakfast room overlooking the town of Knysna and the lagoon. You have a direct view through the heads to the ocean.

ACTIVITIES

The Knysna area is a golfer’s paradise. Visit one of the various PGA registered golf-courses along our beautiful coastline. Cycle on the many biking trails through the local forests or go for a hike on one of the many trails available.

Take a cruise on the lagoon or visit the beautiful Featherbed Nature Reserve and a trip to the Knysna Heads is an absolute must. Brenton on Sea is an exquisite beach approximately 9 km from Knysna central and is well worth the visit.

Knysna is a perfect based from which to explore surrounding areas. Day trips can be made to Oudtshoorn to visit the Cango Caves as well as the Ostrich farms. You can also go and visit the incredible Tsitsikamma National park and surrounds.
