Situated on the mountainside in the town of Fish Hoek, Berg Residence offers comfortable self catering accommodation in a home which boasts views of the ocean in the distance, the valley, and surrounding mountains. The house sleeps four guests and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as an open-plan kitchen, dining area and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed fitted with quality linen. The room leads, through double doors, onto a balcony which has gorgeous views of the mountain and surrounding area. The second bedroom is situated downstairs and has two single beds. The room is quiet and private and has access to an adjoining bathroom. The dining area leads out onto a covered deck; the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a sundowner. The entertainment area, with braai facilities, is on the lower deck where you can relax in front of a fire, enjoy a braai, bask in the sunshine or watch your children playing in the garden. The lounge is equipped with TV and also opens out onto a balcony.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
