Enjoy views of Cape Town and Table Mountain from the wrap around farm style veranda of this beautiful old Victorian villa, situated in an urban conservation area and accredited with the Cape Town Tourism Bureau. Located a mere stone’s throw away from all the mayor Cape Town attractions, including the Central Business District, Cape Town International Convention Centre, Groote Schuur Hospital, Table Mountain, the Waterfront, Sea Point and Observatory with it’s quaint cafes, it has easy access to all the main City highways and beaches. AccommodationThe villa consists of six spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, televisions with M-Net, coffee and tea-making facilities and biscuits. All the bedrooms have high ceilings, lovely sash windows and one of the bedrooms opens up onto the enclosed veranda where breakfast can be enjoined in private. The main bedroom has bay windows and a Victorian bath from where an open fire in the period fireplace can be enjoyed in winter months. There are heaters in all the bedrooms as well as fans for hot summer days but the high ceilings and thick walls help to keep the temperature in the house naturally regulated. We also have a budget bedroom which is smaller than the others yet with all the same amenities. It opens up onto the courtyard and has a private entrance. FACILITIESThe enclosed courtyard has a large wooden table and chairs with an umbrella where breakfast can be enjoyed during summer months. It also has braai facilities. The open plan lounge and diningroom also has a working period fireplace in front of which guests can relax, read or watch DSTV. Wireless internet is available. BreakfastWe offer a full South African breakfast, health or continental breakfast or coffee/ tea and biscuits. SERVICEThe bedrooms are serviced daily, we do laundry upon request and can arrange airport transfers. We have a permanent member of staff at the house to assist with any queries or advice.
