The guest house offers three double en–suite bedrooms, all with dual channel DSTV and MNET. In addition to a large air conditioned en–suite family room with its own entrance sleeping a family of four. The residents' lounge and bar opens out to a spacious open deck and swimming pool with uninterrupted views of the state forest and the Outeniqua Mountains.

SERVICE:


To ensure that your stay is as easy and relaxed as possible, Argyle House takes care of the small details. If you wish breakfast is served early, to give you a good start to the day's activities. If you are flying into George, we will pick you up from the airport and organise car hire from a reputable firm. The parking area within the grounds is secure.

Argyle House Guest Lodge will happily help you with transport arrangements and golf bookings. Please note that advance booking is often necessary, especially during the holiday season (October to April).

ATTRACTIONS


George, rests snugly in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains, eight kilometres from the coast. Half way between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, George is blessed by warm summers and mild winters. This temperate Mediterranean climate makes any time of the year a good time to visit George - the Gateway to the Garden Route.

George is the commercial centre of the Garden Route with a sophisticated infrastructure of banks, businesses, major shopping chains, conference centres, transport and sporting facilities. The George airport connects business people to the main centres of South Africa and the superb road and rail system link to the Karoo hinterland and beyond.
