Very tranquil place, if you want to get out of the normal routine from home, this is the ideal place to spend time together with your partner and to do things that you never has the time to do at home. highlight of my stay was the walking trail and lovely and juicy peach picking at the nearby farm, it was awesome and Lisa was a fantastic host, became friend with one of the dog on the farm, very intelligent dog who took us on the walking trail and even showed us the river. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended if you needed peace and quietness in your life. |

Agterkliphoogte Guest Farm was a lovely experience, the serenity, peacefulness, birdlife, breathtaking mountain views, awesome sunrises and sunsets made my stay very memorable and enjoyable. The cottage was pleasant with clean bed linen and bathroom, with an awesome fireplace inside and outside, what a lovely verandah and a beautiful garden.
The owner of the farm, Lisa, is a very friendly and accommodating host, thanks Lisa, your farm is really a place to "get away from it all" and I hope to be back in the summer time. |

Review by: Candice Lyons, Durbanville (stayed: April 2008)
Lovely place to stay. The farm is beautiful and the dams are great. A bit weedy for fishing but still fun to try. The area is really great for mountain biking, with a route that traverses through vineyards. Only problem one might have is the lack of curtains on bathroom windows. The cottages are far enough away from each other but people walking or driving behind the cottages may have an unexpected view! Otherwise all is fantastic and Lisa is a super host. Many thanks for two wonderful stays. See you this year again. |
