Santorini is a Grecian styled secure coastal estate (24 Hour security) and is situated within Ballito which is a small, bustling, modern village situated amid rolling sugar cane-covered hills on the Indian Ocean coastline of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa and is the heart of the 'Dolphin Coast'. There are six villages within this estate namely Perissa, Thira, Akrotiri, Pyrgos and Kallisti.
Set amongst the Perissa village overlooking the Santorini semi-private beach is a self-catering three-bedroom Mediterranean styled penthouse, No 8 Perissa. It is the only penthouse in the estate that can boast the 270 degree views up the north and south coasts.
The main bedroom features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has twin beds, sleeping a total of six guests.
The lounge and main bedroom open up onto a large and very private patio with 230-degree breathtaking coastal views in both directions. All linen is provided, except for bath and beach towels, and is serviced daily with the exception of Sundays and public holidays. The unit is also equipped with air-conditioning for the hotter summer months.
The granite kitchen boasts beautifully equipped cupboards, a dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine, microwave, and fridge and freezer. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven and hob and is open plan leading onto a large balcony with stunning sea views. Features also include barbecue facilities, a wall mounted 42-inch flat screen TV, and DStv with guests' own smart card.
Santorini borders on the famous Thompson’s Bay beach with warm and thick sand and a huge Olympic swimming tidal pool for many a keen swimmer. Perissa village overlooks the semi-private beach and also a small tidal pool.
The Perissa pool is situated close by and a secure garage is provided for guests' convenience. Take a 50-metre walk to the semi-private beach or enjoy a five-minute secure meander to Thompson's Bay, with lifeguards and the infamous Charlie's Olympic size tidal pool and in-house tennis court.
