Southern Right whales are spotted regularly between July to December and Bottlenose dolphins are often seen close to the shoreline. The endangered oyster catcher also frequents this area. Beachview provides an ideal base for exploring this virtually undiscovered gem of the Eastern Cape. There are endless possibilities for cycling, fishing, 4×4, snorkelling and walking. Two challenging 4×4 trails are a few minutes away. The local roads are virtually empty. We have no streetlights and an extremely low crime rate.
