The Waterberg Biosphere Reserve is a newly
proclaimed area that possesses a haunting splendor and natural beauty. It is not only
abundant in animal and bird life but is also malaria free. Lying just 2-3 hours north of
Johannesburg in the Limpopo province it offers a tranquil bushveld getaway.

just relax around the splash pool under the African sun and enjoy the bush!

THE LODGE:
The small and intimate nature of the camp allows for personal and individual attention to
the needs of all our guests.
Accommodation is in 4 double or twin bedded, fully serviced chalets all en suite. Family
rooms can be prepared and facilities are available for babies. There are safes for
personal belongings in all chalets.
FACILITIES:
The chalets encircle the splash pool and lapa/boma where meals are prepared over an open
fire and stories of untamed Africa are enjoyed. There is a separate lounge and bar with
satellite television.
We are a fully catered lodge serving traditional South African cuisine.
ACTIVITIES:
Morning and afternoon game drives or walks with an experienced and qualified guide are
available. We have viewing hides where guests can relax and observe the animal and bird
life. With 12 species of plains game as well as leopards, warthog, bushpig, brown hyena,
and others there is a lot for the novice or experienced bush lover to enjoy - Not
forgetting the abundant bird life.
Additional activities or excursion are available and can be arranged on request- these
would include adventure or outdoor activities such as fishing, 4x4 trails, golf, horse
riding, abseiling, mountain biking or educational days out to museums and local rural
schools.
