International Airport links the provincial capital Nelspruit and the Kruger National Park
directly with all major South African cities, as well as a selection of international
destinations.
The national carrier, South African Airways, and a number of other commercial airlines
serve KMIA, with South African Travel Agents available to book the most cost effective
tickets for you. Mpumalanga's smaller cities and Mpumalanga
game reserves also all have domestic airports, allowing visitors to charter flights.

This disease is to the larger
extent under control in South Africa however, regions that are affected are the Limpopo
Province and Mpumalanga, northern Natal and Zululand. The risk of contracting the disease
is negligible provided that you take the standard precautions. Malaria tablets, a
good insect repellent particularly in the evening, long-sleeved shirts and mosquito coils

Visitors to the Kruger National Park should consult a local pharmacist or their family
physician for advice on the best anti-malaria drug or drug combination they should take.

hot in summer especially in the Lowveld region. Mild in winter, it can become very cold in
