Attractions & ActivitiesSt Lucia is possible the only town in South Africa that can offer a unique blend of bush animals and marine life with 50kms of each other. Ideally situated next to the warm Indian Ocean, St Lucia is 3hrs from Durban, 5hrs from the Kruger National Park and 1hr from the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve. Its sub-tropical climate guarantees warm-to-hot weather all year round. Annas Bed and Breakfast is situated an easy and safe 5min walk away from the main street which hosts assorted shops and fine restaurants. The beach is a 5min drive whilst the estuary mouth is a casual 25min walk passed lush and green vegetation. The estuary system forms part of the World Heritage Site and hosts abundant hippo, crocodile and over 500 species of bird. An estuary trip is a ‘must-do’ by either covered boat or kayak for the more adventurous. Occasional night sightings of hippo within the town add to the African flavour. A 2 night stay will be enough time to experience St Lucia including a casual drive through the Wetland Game Park (viewing buffalo, rhino and other game) to Cape Vidal for a few hours on the beach plus some snorkelling and back to St Lucia for a late afternoon estuary cruise. A 3rd day could include a guided tour to the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve (the 3rd largest in South Africa and the closest one to Durban featuring the BIG5); or a 2hr whale watching experience (March to November); or a cultural tour of the local Zulu village or a horse ride on the beach or just relax. The 4th day is, well, paradise. We are proud of Annas’ Bed and Breakfast, our home. Come share in our pride - we’ll be happy to see you! ACCREDITATIONS
