DESCRIPTION:

Slanting Acres is 6 mins drive from the beach at Wilderness and is within easy driving distance from all the main tourist attractions in the Garden Route. We are situated on a beautiful small holding overlooking the Wilderness Coastline.We have two horses, ducks, peacocks, chickens and guinea fowl, plus an abundance of wild birds.

The sea views are stunning and each room is en-suite with air-conditioning, TV and fridge etc. All rooms have a private access from the wooden decks, where you can sit, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Slanting Acres.

FACILITIES


In the landscaped gardens, you will find a solar heated swimming pool, tennis court and putting green. We serve a full English or Continental breakfasts and there are some excellent restaurants nearby for supper.

We also have a guest lounge with an adjoining nautical theme bar where you can enjoy a relaxing drink and watch the sun go down over the Outeniqua mountains .

ACTIVITIES


There are several famous golf courses withing easy driving distance of Slanting Acres. You are also able to enjoy hiking, canoeing, horseriding and many outdoor adventure sports including paragliding, abseiling and mountain bike riding.

While staying with us, you can visit the Knysna Elephant Park, Monkey Land, or drive to Oudtshoorn via the Outeniqua Pass to the Cheetah Park, Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms.There are also many enjoyable walks and trails.

DIRECTIONS:

To reach us, from Wilderness stay on the N2 heading in the direction of Sedgefield and Knysna. After approximately 2.5 km, take the left turn for Hoekwil. Keep on this road, travel over the railway line and up the Serpentine Pass. Near the top of the hill, you will see the first sign for Hoekwil. Shortly after passing the sign, turn right into Bitou Road and Slanting Acres is the fourth property on the left hand side.
