On Good Land Country Guesthouse, situated in beautiful Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route, is a lovely, spacious, self catering holiday home sleeping up to 10 guests very comfortably, making this the perfect home away from home. Escape the hustle and bustle of Plett during season time on our little peace of heaven.

Accommodation


Situated on 6 hectares of fynbos on a cliff top with distant sea views over Plettenberg Bay and the Outeniqua mountain range, it offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 rooms en-suite), and a large double volume open plan lounge opening onto a covered sun deck. From the deck you can watch the most wonderful sunsets, ideal for sundowners after a long day exploring.

Simply decorated in blues, creams and browns to echo the summer sand and sea of Plettenberg Bay, and with wooden floors throughout, you will feel so at home you won’t want to leave. The house is fully equipped with linen and towels. A small library full of popular novels, cards and games is also provided. You need bring nothing bar your beach towels.

Facilities


All the mod cons you could possibly want to make your stay a comfortable one, including dish washer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, DSTV compact, and DVD player. Wireless internet is also available for those of you with laptops. Weber braai provided.

Our large indoor, heated pool is available all year round and we offer water aerobic classes in the morning and children swimming lessons in the afternoon (on school days only and at an additional cost). You are more than welcome to use it outside of these times and in the evenings.

The property is fully fenced with electronic gates to ensure that you have peace of mind whilst holidaying with us.

Location


We are situated just 2 minutes from the Robberg Nature Reserve where you can spend the day walking round the peninsula, having a picnic or just enjoying the view. The closest beach, shops and restaurants is a mere 5 minutes away.

Activities and Attractions


You can take a walk through the indigenous forest, full of young yellowwood trees, or watch the sunset from the lawn, whilst listening to all the bird life. Or, what about a long, rambling walk on the Robberg Nature Reserve only a few minutes away.

If you have children, they can feed the geese and ducks or take a bicycle ride. There are numerous activities in the area, which we will gladly book for you. Whale and dolphin watching, horse riding, skydiving, bungi jumping, cycling, scuba diving, elephant park, monkeyland, birds of eden, glider flights, guided walks, river trips, and so much more.

DIRECTIONS:

FROM KNYSNA (1) PIESANG VALLEY ROAD
Take the FIRST entrance into Plett, which is just after after Weldon Kaya, to your right. Go down Piesang Valley Road and follow the road down the hill and past the shops on the right. Turn Right into Robberg Road (Derricks Marine is on the corner) and follow the road out of town. You will pass the airport turnoff on your left, follow the airport fence till the end then turn RIGHT onto a little gravel road. (There is also a little park home with an electric fence on the corner). Follow the white fence to the end (past the Starling Village entrance) and turn into the driveway on the left. No.C2 on the fence.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE - MARINE WAY
If you happen to pass the 1st entrance, then it is OK to take Marine Way (Shell on the corner). All you need to do is follow the road until you get to the traffic circle with the dolphins in the middle. Go through the circle and down the hill. You will come to a second circle where you will turn right and then 1st left into Robberg Road. (there is a boat shop on the corner. Follow as in (1) above.

FROM PORT ELIZABETH
Take Beacon Way entrance into town which turns left off the N2. Follow the road into the main street and at the traffic circle turn left. Go down the hill to the second traffic circle and turn Right. Take the first left into Robberg Road (at the boat shop) and follow directions as in (1) above.
