It is on the main highway - N2 between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. Our best asset is our spectacular 180° unobscured breaker sea view. We live in the conservancy of Dana Bay which offers you, our guests, the most tranquil stay you can imagine. Watch small buck and francolin browse the green belt from your room or while enjoying your breakfast. Not to mention the dolphins and whales in season. AccommodationDana Bay Guest House offers both both Bed & Breakfast and Self-catering accommodation. Room 1 (Bed & Breakfast) This double room is also our honeymoon room with en-suite full bathroom and balcony. The room is equipped with a king size bed, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and bar fridge with courtesy beverage bar. Room 2 (Bed & Breakfast) A double or family room. This is a spacious room with an adjacent single room for a grandparent or child older than 12 years. The two rooms share a full bathroom. The room is equipped with a king size bed, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge with courtesy beverage bar. Both these rooms have a side sea view. Self-catering flat The flat consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and sleeps 8. There are two double rooms with double beds. Room 1 has an un-suit bathroom (no shower) and door leading into the garden. Room 2 shares a full bathroom with a children’s room (2 x twin beds). All linen is included except beach towels. A double sleeper couch adds additional sleeping space. There is a large open plan living / dining area. The kitchen is well equipped and has a pantry for maximum storage. The flat has its own entrance and is situated on the ground floor which makes it easy accessible for the elderly and small children. This unit is equipped with TV / Video / DVD. There are braai (barbecue) facilities. Our establishment offers secure off street parking. ChildrenNo children under 12 are allowed in the B&B. Children of all ages welcome in the self-catering units. Local FacilitiesIn our village there are laundromats, a Post Office, garage, fast-food diners, supermarkets, real estate agents etc. We are close to all amenities. Activities & AttractionsThe Casino is just around the dune and all other activities are in close proximity. We are situated in the golf mecca of South Africa with Fancourt and Pinnacle Point to mention only two. Other activities are bungy jumping, deep sea fishing, beach strolls, dining, shark cage diving, game farms, museums, shopping malls, movie houses, horse rides and hiking trails. Watersports are another popular attraction. Quad bike rides are on our doorstep. Day trips to Oudtshoorn can be done from here. |

Mellifera Street – number 34 (4th house on the left) From N2 Georg/PE Do not take first turn off into Mossel Bay keep going until informal settlement is passed on left, take Mossel Bay R102 number 387 turn off – also Casino indication, left at T and right into Dana Bay turn off at the robot.
