Centrally situated along the Garden Route between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, Coral Tree Cottages makes the ideal base for exploring the Garden Route. Within easy reach are the famous Cango Caves, Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve and many world class golf courses.

No matter what time of the year you wish to visit, Plettenberg Bay offers many attractions. Visit "Adventure Land" where the whole family can enjoy the super tubes, water slides, quad biking and play park. Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and Knysna Elephant Park are also well worth a visit. View whales and dolphins, cycle through the indigenous forests or hike the many exciting trails Plettenberg Bay has to offer.

ACCOMMODATION


The accommodation at Coral Tree Cottages consists of three spacious single bedroom thatched cottages with a sleeper couch in the lounge area accommodating up to four people and three, two bedroom thatched cottages with a sleeper couch in the lounge area accommodating up to six people. One of the two bedroom cottages has a private swimming pool and there is an additional swimming pool set in landscaped gardens for everyone else’s use.

All the cottages are fully equipped with all the modern conveniences of home including stove/oven, microwave oven, Television with DSTV, own private garden and braai/bbq. Although the cottages are self catering they are also serviced daily, so that while you are on holiday you can relax and enjoy your stay with us. A substantial and delicious breakfast is available on request, delivered to your cottage for you to enjoy at your leisure.

ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS


There are numerous hiking trails catering for all abilities from a few hours to several days. Some favorites are Robberg Nature Reserve and the famous Otter Trail. All trails have a common thread - tranquility and natural beauty. There are numerous mountain biking trails in the Harkerville forest and the Outeniqua mountains and various scenic horse riding trails around Plettenberg Bay with wonderful forest trails or out rides through indigenous forestry.

Plettenberg Bay boasts a fine 18 hole golf course in the middle of a private nature reserve. Here one may frequently see the Knysna Loeries whilst enjoying a game of golf on this immaculately kept course. Other quality golf courses amidst beautiful natural surroundings are only minutes away.

The beautiful coastline is probably one of the most spectacular in the world. The beautiful blue bay is in itself a stunning sight, curtained by a backdrop of majestic mountains. The area between Harkerville and the Tsitsikamma is a true reflection of the famous Garden Route.

DIRECTIONS:

From George
Travel east on the N2 towards Port Elizabeth. Drive through Sedgefield and Knysna. Travel for 19 km when you will see a brown national road sign on the right hand side. There is also signage at our entrance.

From Cape Town
Take the N2 and drive through Knysna. Travel for 19km when you will see a brown national road sign on the right hand side of the road. There is also signage at our entrace.

From Port Elizabeth
Take the N2 towards Cape Town/George. Stay on the N2 and do not take any of the turnoffs into Plettenberg Bay. 12km after Plettenberg Bay you will see a brown national road sign on the left hand side of the road. There is also signage at our entrance.
