Guests are received in ultimate luxury and service excellence. Woodpecker’s Inn Guesthouse opened in May 2008 and provides accommodation to the international, corporate travellers and families. Our staff are more than willing to assist you where possible to make you feel comfortable and at home. At Woodpecker’s Inn we pride ourselves in offering you a 4 star property at 3 star rates that simply makes your life easier. AccommodationWoodpecker’s Inn has five en-suite spacious and luxurious rooms available. Each room sleeps two guests and has its own private entrance. Our first floor rooms have been designed in such a way that they can be converted into one large family room. Each room is individually decorated. Our 5th room is also a honeymoon suite with an aircon and an open plan bathroom with a shower and a free standing bath. Our RoomsThe Grey Lourie This ground level room function as a disabled room as well as a standard guest room. The room has a ramp into the room as well as converted shower. The Hoopoe The Hoopoe is also on the ground floor and is equipped with a bath. The Black Collared The Black Collared is on the first floor with a covered balcony, bathroom with a shower. The Crested Barbet The Crested Barbet also on first floor equipped with bathroom and shower, as well as covered balcony. the Cape robin This room will be perfect for a newly wed couple. First floor with a private balcony, open plan bathroom with shower and free standing bath. All of our rooms have two single beds that can be converted into a king size bed. All have built in cupboards with a desk chair and a comfy chair just to relax on. DIRECTIONS: From OR Tambo International Airport 1. Departing from OR Tambo International Airport, drive north on the R21 towards Pretoria. Take the Freight / Voortrekker Road (Kempton Park) turn-off. 2. Follow Voortrekker Road all the way till Monument Road. (KFC on your left; MICA Hardware on your right). 3. At the intersection with Monument Road turn right. (Police Station to your left and McDonalds to your right). 4. Travel down Monument Road for about 4.5km. 5. You will enter the suburb named Aston Manor. 6. Pass over the traffic circle with a Total garage on your left. 7. Travel over the 1st set of traffic lights. 8. At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn left into Dann Road. 9. First street right, Geelhaak Road. 10. First street left, Appelblaar Avenue. 11. First street right, Frangipani Avenue. 12. Turn right into Driedoring Avenue, continue down to Nr. 29 on the corner. Directions from Pretoria 1. Travel on the R21 towards OR Thambo International Airport. 2. Take the Pomona turn-off. 3. At the traffic lights turn right into Pomona Road. 4. Continue down Pomona Road for about 2km (Noark Timber to your left and Engen Garage to your right). 5. Pass the Engen Garage and at the next set of traffic lights (before the bridge), turn right. 6. Turn right at the T-junction into Dann Road. 7. Travel down Dann Road until the intersection with Monument Road. (Woodbridge Shopping Centre now on your left and Home 2 Home Estate Agency on your right) 8. Continue down Dann Road, turn left into Geelhaak Road. 9. First street left, Appelblaar Avenue. 10. First street right, Frangipani Avenue. 11.
