With wooden floors, high ceilings and old world charm you’ll feel right at home. Waterhouse is situated right opposite the Zuid-Afrikaanse Hospital, on the corner of Bourke and Berea Street. AccommodationWe have 14 luxury double en-suite rooms, all fitted with DSTV, and for your convenience free wireless internet. Most of the rooms have self catering facilities and all rooms have a tea and coffee station. Same day laundry services are available at minimum cost. As most of our rooms are self catering, this makes it the perfect Guesthouse for long-term guests staying from a week up to 6 months. Our Guesthouse can accommodate up to 28 people, so it is ideal for group bookings of any kind - school, sport, student and business groups. There is secure parking on the premises. DiningWe serve a full breakfast every morning (continental before 7am and after 9am) and home cooked dinners are also available on request. There are a wide variety of restaurants close by, and a home delivery take out service is available. LocationAs Waterhouse is situated close to the CBD, most historical buildings and rugby stadiums, it makes the perfect Guest Lodge for both the corporate individual and the tourist. For the business man we are in close proximity to SABS (South African Bureau of Standards), SARS (South African Receiver of Revenue), DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) and San Parks (South African National Parks). Hospitals just around the corner from us are the Little Company of Mary and the Jacaranda Hospital as well as the Zuid-Afrikaanse Hospital that is walking distance away. We are also very close to the Medi-Clinic Heart hospital, as well as the Pretoria Eye Institute. Attractions and ActivitiesA must see for the tourists are the historical Union Buildings, Melrose House (a 19th century home), the Voortrekker Monument and Freedom Park. For the nature lover there is the Groenkloof Nature Reserve and the Kruin Nature Reserve - Part of the oldest Nature Reserve in South Africa. Bird lovers can visit the Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary, and the Pretoria Zoo is just 5 minutes drive away. Waterhouse is only 40 minutes away from the OR Tambo International Airport and only 90 minutes away from the popular Sun City and Lost City.
