We are approximately 11km from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg International Airport). This owner-run guest lodge epitomizes warm hospitality and service excellence. A large inviting swimming pool, set in a beautiful garden that offers privacy to guests is always available and is a tranquil place to relax, a peaceful haven where guests can relax after a busy day exploring of all the delights our area has to offer. There is also secure parking. Right next door a tennis court with a professional coach is available for booking. AccommodationThe stylish rooms include TV's with SABC / ETV channels & M-net, a courtesy tray with coffee, tea, sugar and creamers. We have five comfortable self catering fully serviced rooms which are available as either two single or as one King size in beds. This enables us to accommodate either 14 single sharing or seven couples. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Comfy king size beds with crisp cotton bed linen ensure a good night's sleep. Our guest lounge / dining room provides a homely and comfortable place to relax. Why not borrow a book or play one of the many board games on offer. We have our own off road parking and are Non-Smoking throughout. We enjoy sharing our special home and garden and are very proud of the area we live in, so we are only too happy to help plan a day out or recommend one of the splendid restaurants in the area to finish off the day. Guests are very welcome to borrow guide maps and books. There are many restaurants, take-aways & shopping facilities in and around our area for your convenience. LocationThe Maple Village Guest Lodge is situated in Eastleigh Ridge, Edenvale less than a 11km drive from O R Thambo International Airport (Johannesburg International Airport). We are well situated to accommodate all your business and holiday requirements as well as in-transit accommodation should this be required. EdenvaleSituated just 15km to the East of Johannesburg, is Edenvale or Lethabong meaning 'place of happiness', (a place where people could live in a spirit of understanding, goodwill and co-operation). Once a small municipality in its own right, but now better known as part of the giant megacity of Ekurhuleni. Edenvale remains a clean and attractive town, well served by many restaurants and facilities. It is in an excellent position as a "dormitory town" for the numerous industrial complexes all within the 15 to 20 km radius surrounding the East of Johannesburg, to name a few; Sebenza, Croydon, Isando, Jet Park, Heriotdale, Kempton Park. A few others areas are Sandton, Kew, Benrose and Steeldale these are only a few km's further away. Edenvale is situated close to both the Rand Airport and the OR Tambo International Airport. Midway is an apt description of Edenvale as there is convenient and quick access from all directions. Right on our doorstep is Greenstone Shopping Centre destined to be the largest in the Southern Hemisphere on its completion. It currently boasts an array of delightful restaurants and a shopping experience every visitor will find convenient. A few km's toward Johannesburg we also have the Eastgate Shopping Centre full to brimming with shops and eating facilities from a quick bite to a sit down gourmet meal. Both centers include the Ster-Kinekor movie cinema complexes. |

DIRECTIONS: From O.R. Thambo Airport From O.R. Thambo (Johannesburg International) Airport take the R 24 towards Johannesburg. Take the first off ramp which is Barbara Road. Turn right back across the highway. Turn left into Sandvale Road. Cross over the next traffic light. At the stop street turn right into Harris Road, follow this road until it reaches a four -way Intersection turn right. Continue to third robot (crossing two stop streets) at this intersection take the slip road to the left, this is into Terrace Road. Continue down Terrace road through three sets of robots (traffic lights). At the fourth set turn right into Columbus Avenue, (Beware of the speed bumps in Columbus) continue to T-junction.
