DESCRIPTION:

Rutland House is an island of tranquillity amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Nestled in a beautiful half acre of garden there are 3 en-suite guest bedrooms, a family suite and a two bedroom cottage, each with its own entrance.

Delia Ferguson has been extending a warm welcome to her guests since 1995. Rutland House is centrally situated between Rosebank, Randburg, Sandton and is 2 kilometres from Hyde Park.

ACCOMMODATION


Bed & Breakfast
Nestled in a beautiful half acre of garden there are 3 en-suite guest bedrooms, a family suite, and a two bedroom cottage. Each has its own entrance through a private garden or courtyard and they are all set away from the main house and each other for maximum privacy.

All the suites are freshly decorated and offer TV with all channels, radio, fridge, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, sweets, biscuits, and a bowl of fruits in season. For comfort there are heaters and electric blankets for winter and fans for summer.

Self Catering
The cottage is perfect for long stays, families and corporate relocations and can be taken on a B&B or self catering basis. It comprises a main bedroom with queen bed and second bedroom with two single beds and a pull out double bed sleeper couch in the lounge. The lounge is open plan with a kitchenette which has a small stove, microwave and large fridge, and is fully equipped. There is a small private enclosed garden leading off the bedrooms.

There is a sparkling swimming pool for guests to enjoy, secure parking next to each suite and easy access to and from the property.

CONFERENCES


Rutland House Conference Venue offers a unique setting for a comfortable, private and quiet meeting place. Tailor-made to your requirements, the venue can be either light and airy with glass doors opening onto the patio and garden or warm and cosy with the fire burning in the fireplace. There is air-conditioning for summer and blinds if the room needs to be dark for presentations. Equipment available includes a white board and flip chart and there is a screen available. There is a break away room available.

DIRECTIONS:

Travelling on the M1 south, take the Corlett Drive off-ramp. Turn right and go under the highway bridge. Pass through Melrose / Wanderers (2.5km) to top of road. Turn left into Oxford Road and get into the right hand lane. At the 1st traffic lights turn right into Bompas Road and go all the way to the T-junction at the bottom of Bompas (1.9 km). Turn right into Northumberland Ave, go around sharp corner and you will be in Rutland Ave. Continue over one stop and one circle till you see the green Rutland House sign at No. 48.
