Situated in Sandton, North of Johannesburg, Rivonia Bed & Breakfast offers secure accommodation in peaceful surroundings & is the ideal location for business travellers and holiday makers.

Rivonia Bed & Breakfast is strategically located in Sandton, north of Johannesburg, with easy access to major highways. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a large (6000sq.m) rambling garden and abundant bird life, creating a country feeling in the heart of Sandton. Guests can relax on the pool deck and enjoy a swim in the crystal clear water away from the noise of traffic.

ACCOMMODATION


Twenty-six en-suite self catering bed-sitters and ten en-suite bedrooms, each with its own entrance leading onto a patio, offer the guests every modern day comfort. We pride ourselves on the high standards maintained. The guesthouse is within the Rivonia Valley security area and also has its own security fencing and electric gates to ensure safety and secure parking within the premises.

All rooms are fully serviced and offer the following: own private entrance, bathroom / shower en-suite, Colour TV with M-Net and 2 selected DSTV Channels, fridge with mini bar, tea / coffee tray with kettle, telephone, underfloor heating, fans, a wall safe, iron & ironing board, wall safe and hairdryer.

The 26 self catering bed-sitters have fully equipped kitchenettes each with its own microwave, stove and oven, toaster and the necessary cutlery and crockery.

Breakfast:


A delicious buffet Health Breakfast is served in the dining room / patio overlooking the pool and includes fresh fruit, fruit juice, yoghurt, cereals, cold meat platter, croissants, toast / muffins, marmalade / jams and tea / coffee and a cooked breakfast to order.

Broadband internet connection (rental of iBurst modems for laptops), broadband internet workstation, Wi-Fi connection, laundry, use of pool and pool deck, tree house for children, safe keeping of valuables, fax and e-mail facilities, transfers to the airport and other locations, arrangements made for tours and car rentals and assistance with travel arrangements.

Rivonia B&B is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, an internet café and the Planet Fitness gym. Within close range are Sunninghill and Morningside Medi-Clinics, Sandton City, Fourways Shopping Mall, the Montecasino theatre and entertainment centre. The OR Tambo International Airport is a 25 min. drive from our bed and breakfast.

DIRECTIONS:

From Johannesburg International Airport (and N1 Highway)
1. Take the R 24 towards Johannesburg
2. After approx. 9 km, take the off-ramp to join the N3 North , direction Pretoria
3. Follow the highway for approx 13 km to join the N1 South , direction Roodepoort
4. After the intersection, take the first off-ramp to join Rivonia rd/weg (M9 South), direction Rivonia / Sandton.
5. Follow Rivonia Rd/weg (M9) in the southerly direction towards Rivonia / Sandton.
6. At the second traffic light after the BP Filling Station, turn Left into 10 th Ave. (opposite the Road Lodge)

From N1 Roodepoort
1. Take the Rivonia Rd/Weg off-ramp and turn Right under the highway to join the M9 South, direction Rivonia/Sandton
2. Follow 5 & 6 above

From Sandton
Follow Rivonia Road/weg (M9) in Northerly direction to Rivonia.
In Rivonia, turn right at the first traffic light after McDonalds, into 10 th Ave. (opposite the Road Lodge)

From 10 th Ave. Rivonia
1. Cross over Rivonia Blv, and continue down the hill over Wessels and Stiglingh Rds.
2. Sign in at the Rivonia Valley security boom (after Stiglingh Rd)
3. At stop street, turn Left into Bevan Rd.
4. At next stop ("T "junction) , turn Right into 11th Ave.
5. Turn next Left into River Rd
6. Ring the bell at No 3 River Rd on the Left.
