Lapeng is conveniently situated about 30km from both Johannesburg and Vereeniging CBDs and is easily accessible from the R82 and R59 highways and most roads linking the Vaal-Triangle with the central Witwatersrand. ACCOMMODATIONWe can accommodate up to 72 guests in comfortable professionally decorated Village Chalets (with single rooms), Hotel rooms, VIP Suites and Honeymoon Suites with spa baths. FACILITIESEntertainment areas include two covered lapas with built-in braai areas, an upstairs lounge, a sports bar, private dining and function rooms and a chapel for wedding functions. Lapeng Conference & Event Centre is built on a vast indigenous property and offers guests breathtaking views from the hotel patios CONFERENCESLapeng is a multi-faceted Venue with a 150 seater main conference room and four 50 seater breakaway rooms. GAUTENG WEDDINGSPula Main Conference Room Pula, the Main Conference room seats 200 guests Banquet Style. The Conference Centre also has four breakaway rooms. Please note that this venue requires a dance floor which should be hired for your own account. (Max 200 guests - no dancefloor, 150 with dancefloor) Nala Restaurant with mountain views Our cozy Nala restaurant leads off the main reception area, allowing guests to stay under cover at all times. Once in the dining room your guests will be able to enjoy the wonderful African cuisine and atmosphere. (Max 140 pax- with dance floor venue) The Hide away The Private Dining Room is a very quaint area, which leads off to our upper terrace. (Max 80 guests - no Dance Floor) Uncovered Terrace Delight, dazzle and amaze is exactly what you will get from this venue with the sky above you, fresh air and a view of central Johannesburg’s flickering lights at night. Please note in the case of bad weather, an additional R1000.00 refundable deposit will be charged for the use of the lower terrace. (Max 200 guests with dance floor) Mpho Wedding Chapel Comfortably seating up to 150 guests, with it’s cross like windows overlooking the Paardeberg Mountain and homesteads below. DIRECTIONS: From Pretoria / Johannesburg North Take the N1 South to Johannesburg The N1 South becomes the M1 to Johannesburg Follow the M1 South past South gate Shopping Centre towards Vereeniging Take the R82 to Vereeniging until you reach the 4way stop in Walkerville (Friendly Grocer will be on your left) Take the first left after the stop to go onto the R557 Randvaal road Follow the Lapeng signs to the site From Alberton / East Rand Take the R59 to Vereeniging Take the Randvaal road off ramp (after the blockhouse Engen One stop) and turn right at the Stop to go onto the R557Randvaal Road Look for the Lapeng sign and turn right onto the sight (+/11km from the off ramp). From Vereeniging Take the R59 towards Alberton/ Johannesburg Take the Randvaal off ramp and turn left at the Stop to go onto the R557 Randvaal Road Look for the Lapeng sign and turn right onto the site (+/11km from the off ramp) From the N1 highway Take the N1 towards Bloemfontein At the Grassmere Toll Plaza take the R558 Ennervale/ Walkerville turnoff. (Keep in the left lane at the toll gate) At the stop street turn left onto R558 Walkerville Turn left at the Tjunction towards Walkerville 500m from the Tjunction turn right onto the Walkerville /Vereeniging Road 11km from the turn off you will reach a Tjunction turn left.
