We are ideally situated for the business traveller and tourist alike. AccommodationYou will be welcomed with warm hospitality and shown to your well appointed, comfortable en-suite bedroom with twin / king sized beds and sliding doors opening onto your balcony with a view over the garden. Relax in our guest lounge with lovely view and a cosy fireplace. All rooms are individually decorated and equipped with remote TV, electronic safes, ceiling fans, heaters and electric blankets for winter nights, tea / coffee station, towels and guest amenities. Configuration: either 1 King Sized or 2 single beds per room. The executive room can be converted into a family room with 1 King Sized and 1 single bed. Enjoy our beautiful African sunsets and panoramic view from your balcony or from the deck which cantilevers over the side of the hill. Wake up to the birdsong of our regulars who sing their praises to the leafy Bushveld garden where African Pigmy hedgehogs and Slender Mongoose also visit. Take a book from our library to read in a quiet spot under a tree or use the binoculars to identify some of the birds in our indigenous garden. Breakfasts and DiningScrumptious breakfasts are served in the breakfast room or on the deck (weather permitting). Other meals can be served by prior arrangement. There are many fine restaurants in the vicinity where you can tempt your taste-buds or treat yourself to an old-fashioned road house meal, just for fun! To really go back in time visit the drive in theatre on top of Menlyn Mall where you can even book an old Chevy to watch the movies from! Services and FacilitiesUndercover parking in lock up garages is available. Internet and fax facilities are available. We will gladly assist in transfers and arrangements for day tours in and around Pretoria. DIRECTIONS: From Oliver Tambo International Airport • Drive North on the R 21 (Pretoria / Polokwane), • Then take the N1 North (Polokwane / Pretoria East). • Pass the Rigel Ave. offramp, • pass Atterbury offramp, • pass Lynnwood Road offramp, • pass the Pretoria / Witbank offramp (Major intersection). • Take the next offramp: Stormvoël/Mamelodi. (± R 5 toll fee). • Turn left into Stormvoël Road. • Cross one traffic light intersection. • At the traffic circle, turn left into C.R. Swart Drive. • Cross three traffic light intersections and turn left at the fourth traffic light into Wilkinson Street. • Turn immediately right into Walton Ave. • Walton becomes Mercia Street. In the cul de sac on the left are our 5 garages. • The main entrance to Eagle’s Rest Guest House is just past the garages. From Johannesburg via the M1 / N1 (Ben Schoeman) motorway • Follow the M1/N1 North. • Take the N1 Polokwane offramp. • Follow that till you eventually pass the Rigel Ave offramp, • pass Atterbury Rd offramp, • pass Lynnwood Rd offramp, • pass the Pretoria / Witbank interchange. • Take the next offramp: Stormvoël/Mamelodi. (± R 8 toll fee). • Turn left into Stormvoël Road. • Cross one traffic light intersection. • At the traffic circle, turn left into C.R.
