When Diep in die Berg re-opened in 1993 we decided to specialise in the Conference and Events market and therefore do not have facilities, catering for the general public. Our normal operating hours are Monday to Friday’s from 7h00 to 17h00 and Saturdays from 9h00 to 13h30 and facilities can be viewed during these times. After hours viewing can be arranged by appointment. ConferencesDiep in die Berg is the ideal facility for your out-of-office conference and training requirements or special corporate function. We offer seven medium to large conference venues plus a dedicated boardroom. Our conference rooms can accommodate up to 450 delegates in various seating styles. Location & transportationCentrally located near all the best that Pretoria has to offer. We are only minutes away from the N1 and N4 and 45 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport. Audio visual & technicalAll standard conferencing equipment is included; additional equipment can be supplied on request. Trained staff is available for support for the duration of your conference. Teambuilding & recreationOur spacious gardens and patio areas provide sufficient space for teambuilding and relaxation. Weddings & functionsDiep in die Berg is one of the premier venues in Pretoria catering for weddings and functions. Our facilities provide an intimate chapel, two banqueting halls for guests between 70 to 250 without compromising on space. Let our Events co-ordinator create your ideal wedding by bringing quality and personal attention to the planning of your special day. The warm and inviting atmosphere, created through stylish décor and furnishings ensure that you and your guests will relax and enjoy you wedding day. Food & Wine tastingDiep in die Berg will be hosting a Food & Wine tasting evening for all our existing and prospective wedding clients. This special evening will give you and your guests the opportunity to taste some of our finest cuisine, complimented by carefully selected wines. Also come and view specially prepared sample tables showcasing some of the latest trends in the wedding industry, meet our Event Co-ordinators and a few of our preferred suppliers. SecurityDiep in die Berg has 24-hour security with enforced access control and secure parking facilities. Backup generatorWe have invested in the latest state of the art standby generator for any unexpected power outages to ensure that your conference or event will be uninterrupted. The generator is capable of meeting the electricity demand of the entire facility including air conditioners and equipment. AccreditationsDiep in die Berg is a Level 2 BEE accredited entity. |

DIRECTIONS: from Johannesburg • Continue on the N1 (North) through Midrand then follow the N1 Pietersburg highway - traveling towards Pietersburg • Take the Lynnwood Road off ramp • At the traffic lights turn right into Lynnwood Road • Travel along Lynnwood until you get to Hans Strydom Road • At the traffic lights turn right into Hans Stydom Road • At the first set of traffic lights turn left into Disselboom street • Immediate right again – sign reading, ‘Diep In Die Berg’ – follow path leading up the hill from Pretoria • Continue with Schoeman Street which becomes the Emalahleni (Witbank) highway (N4). Pass under the Polokwane(Pietersburg) N1 - JHB highway • Take the Hans Strydom turn off (4th Off Ramp) • At the traffic circle turn right following the Garsfontein sign • Pass Makro and Metro on your left hand side • Cross Lynnwood road at the traffic lights • At the next set of traffic lights turn left into Disselboom street • Immediate right again - sign reading, ‘Diep In Die Berg’ - follow path leading up the hill from O.R Thambo International Airport • Continue on the R21 (North) - traveling towards Pretoria • Take the Hans Strydom / Lyttelton off ramp • At the traffic lights turn right into Hans Strydom Road • Travel along Hans Strydom past Garsfontein towards Faerie Glen (+ - 14km) • At the set of traffic lights turn right into Disselboom street from Hans Strydom • Immediate right again – sign reading, ‘Diep In Die Berg’ – follow path leading up the hill MAP: Available at: http://www.sa-venues.com/visit/diepindieberg/map.php |
