We offer luxury accommodation, as well as caravan and camping, at affordable rates on 10 hectares of pristine natural land, close to the Cradle of Humankind- a World Heritage site. We are ideally situated to the modern day amenities on offer with easy access to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Randburg, Sandton, N1 and N14 highways as well as Lanseria International Airport. The park is within short driving distance from the Cradle of Humankind, The Crocodile Arts and Crafts ramble, the famous wedding mile, shopping malls, reputable restaurants, golf courses and sport stadiums. AccommodationThe Guest Lodge – Self Catering or B&B The Country Park Guest lodge was awarded 4 stars from the Tourism Grading Council of SA for its modern and luxurious accommodation and is “Highly Recommended” by the AA Travel Guides. Our beautiful rooms are fully equipped for a self catering or bed & breakfast stay. The lodge has a comfortable lounge and dining area as well as a country kitchen that is available to all guests during their stay. We offer in-room continental breakfast options upon request. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with sundowner’s on the deck while watching our game and the stunning views of the Witwatersrand mountains. Lodge Guest Rooms Each room has a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge / freezer, cutlery and crockery, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, flat screen TV with DSTV, comfortable seating, desk / dressing table, private en-suite bathroom, electronic safe, iron and iron board and is air conditioned. Luxury four star suites: four units available with option of King size bed or Twin beds. Standard room: one unit available with King size bed. Family / Group Room This unit has an open plan sleeping area accommodating three persons and one bedroom with a King size or Twin beds (up to five persons sharing), bathroom (shower only) and the kitchenette is fully equipped with fridge / freezer, stove top, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea and coffee facilities. A patio with braai facilities compliments the unit. This room is not star graded. The Caravan & Camp Site Our ‘overnight’ caravan and camp site is fully grassed with electrical and water points for our guests convenience. We offer neat ablution facilities with a steady supply of hot water. The lapa with a pool table and fire place is conveniently situated in the middle of the camp site and is ideal for rallies or group gatherings. The lapa can be booked for exclusive use upon request. Guests at the Country park can relax in the sparkling swimming pool, watch our game, enjoy the private picnic / braai areas and children can play in the playground close to the camp site. The Conference and Private Function VenueOur function venue is bathed in natural light and with stunning views of the country side you can enjoy your meeting or special event in a relaxing atmosphere. DIRECTIONS: From the N1 Highway (Roodepoort / Bloemfontein) Take the Beyers Naude Drive off ramp. Travel in a westerly direction, away from JHB city, towards Honeydew / Muldersdrift for 10.5km measured from the middle of the N1 highway bridge to our turn off, Incolae Road. (You will pass Life Style, Honeydew Ferreira's, Honeydew Toyota Truck Division, a Caltex garage and cross over Peter Road). Once you cross the Peter Road intersection you turn left at the second road, Incolae Road, between Edan Traders used truck dealers and a local supermarket. Travel for approximately 900m down Incolae Road where you will find Country Park's entrance gate on your left hand side. Kindly phone us on 083 256 7000 for access to the park. An alternative route from the N1 Highway (Roodepoort / Bloemfontein) Take the Gordon Road off ramp. Turn left if coming from a southerly direction (Bloemfontein), or right coming from a northerly direction (Pretoria). The first intersection is Hendrik Potgieter Drive. Turn right into Hendrik Potgieter Drive. (You will pass Hillfox Shopping Complex, Makro at Strubensvalley, continue to Featherbrooke Shopping Complex, KFC). Turn right into Peter Road at the Peter / Doreen Road intersection. Continue past Maragon School and Monash University, until you get to the Beyers Naude intersection at the Caltex garage. Turn left into Beyers Naude Drive and left again at the second road, Incolae Road, between Edan Traders used truck dealers and a local supermarket. Travel for approximately 900m down Incolae Road where you will find Country Park's entrance gate on your left hand side. Kindly phone us on 083 256 7000 for access to the park. From the N14 Pretoria / Krugersdorp Highway Take the M5 Swartkops / Randburg off ramp and turn left towards Johannesburg. Travel for approximately 5,5km to our turn off, Incolae Road. You will pass Oakfield Farm on your right, Garden World on your left and the Muldersdrift Animal Clinic on your right. Turn right into Incolae Road between Edan Traders used truck dealers and a local supermarket. Travel for approximately 900m down Incolae Road where you will find Country Park's entrance gate on your left hand side. Kindly phone us on 083 256 7000 for access to the park. An alternative route from the N14 Pretoria / Krugersdorp Highway From the N14 Pretoria/Krugersdorp Highway take Hendrik Potgieter Road towards Johannesburg.
