Endorsed as a Highly Recommended Establishment by the AA Travel Guides, we pay careful attention to all of our guests ensuring that all their needs are met. With easy access to two major highways (N1 and R21), we are also centrally located to various Shopping Malls, Restaurants, Golf Courses, Hospitals and Airports. Overlooking the Oval where families come together for some relaxation, you will feel at home, away from home. AccommodationWe have sixteen tastefully decorated rooms all with en-suite bathrooms and private entrances. All of the rooms have satellite television, coffee and tea facilities, fans and heating and a working space for the business guest. We are also wifi enabled. Children of all ages are welcome. We have a family room, two separate bedrooms with an interlinking door and extra beds can be arranged for smaller children. FacilitiesThere is secure off the road under cover parking, a private lounge and bar, laundry service on request, swimming pool, and barbeque area. Breakfast and diningOur affordable rates include both a traditional English and Continental breakfast served in the restaurant, on the patio or by the pool side. We can also provide lunch packs on request and a three course dinner prepared by our resident chef. Conference RoomOur air conditioned conference room can accommodate up to 30 delegates depending on the seating style, be it for a meeting, brainstorming sessions or training. Our package includes breakfast on arrival, coffee and tea during breaks with snacks, light lunch, water and mints on the tables, a television, flipcharts and pens. We also have a data projector and dvd player that are available for hire. Attractions:The Colonial Guest House is central to Pretoria and Johannesburg and about twenty minutes drive from the OR Thambo International Airport, Lanseria Airport and Wonderboom Airport. We are close to Irene Golf course, Centurion Golf Estate, Super Sport Park, Loftus Versveld, Nosa Training Offices, Highveld Conference Centre and various Olifantsfontein training venues. We are also surrounded by beautiful Wedding venues and churches. For the weekend guests wanting to do something different we recommend a visit to the Irene Dairy Farm, Rietvlei Nature Reserve, The Voortrekker Monument and the Cradle of Humankind. DIRECTIONS: From N1 Highway From the N1 highway take the Botha Avenue off-ramp in Centurion. Follow the signs to Irene and turn right at Alexandra Avenue (first street you can turn right in). After the stop sign, turn left into Queen Street, this is the entrance into Irene, keep straight until the first stop. Turn Left into Stanley Street, and Left again at the T-junction. Continue along the Oval to Colonial Guest House on the left. From OR Thambo International Airport From OR Thambo International Airport take the R21 to Pretoria. Turn off at the Nelmapius off-ramp, turn left towards Irene and continue straight until you reach Irene. Turn left into King Street, this is the entrance to Irene, continue on this road and turn right into Queen street. At the second stop, turn right into Stanley street and turn left by the T-junction.
