• The freeway splits into two - left is to the N3 for Durban and straight is for Johannesburg and Pretoria. Bear left as if going to Durban, but look for the flyover to your centre right Keep to the right hand lane as you need to take the Pretoria route on the flyover. The flyover automatically takes you on to the N3 towards Pretoria and Northern Joburg (don't head for Johannesburg as this takes you to the centre of the city)
• Stay on the N3 North. Go through four interchanges – Linksfield, Edenvale / Modderfontein, London Road & Marlboro. The next interchange is Buccleugh - keep going straight. Note that the freeway name changes to the N1 South or the Western Bypass - the next off ramp is Rivonia Road - ignore this. The second offramp is William Nicol - take this one.
