The lodge is ideally located for business and leisure travellers passing through Johannesburg. Owing to its location the lodge is the perfect start or end to any African tour. Airport Game Lodge is furthermore ideally situated for travellers with early departures or late arrivals. It is also suitable for day visitors - day rooms are available between connecting flights - as well as travellers wanting a 'home base' while exploring the treasures of Southern Africa. Airport Game Lodge is home to several species of small tame and semi-tame game, making for a true African adventure. Guests may also indulge in bird watching, as many local and migrant species frequent the lodge and its water features. Airport Game Lodge is conveniently located 40 km from both Johannesburg's Central Business District (CBD) and the affluent suburb of Sandton. Pretoria is a mere 45km away. ACCOMMODATIONLuxury accommodation is provided in well appointed rooms in a landscaped garden, overlooking the untouched bush and Rietvlei stream. Each room comes complete with a shower, separate toilet and international shaver adapter hairdryer as well as private telephone, Internet telephone jack and television set with all the national TV channels as well as M-Net and Supersport. All 23 rooms are also equipped with tea-and coffee-making facilities with biscuits and a mini bar as well as an air cooler or fan and heater and / or fireplace. CONFERENCESOur conference venue is ideally located for delegates wanting to meet close to the airport. (Our rates even include free airport shuttles). The Conference Centre is a double story, air-conditioned thatch venue, with the Conference room downstairs and the entertainment area (for tea/coffee and lunch breaks) upstairs. It is located in a quiet, landscaped, open area. We can accommodate 30 delegates in U-shape style. Standard equipment is available: white board and markers, flip-chart and markers, screen, writing pads and pens, mints and water. A data projector is available to rent (cost TBC). |

DIRECTIONS: 10km North of JHB International Airport. Follow R21 (north) from airport towards Pretoria. After 4km take POMONA turn off. Turn right into Pomona road. After another 3km cross over intersection at traffic lights. Turn immediately left into Fourth Road. (Engen garage is now on your left hand side). Follow Fourth road (which becomes a gravel road) for 1.5km until the end of the road. Turn left and drive another 100m to the entrance (at a green gate and flags).
