DESCRIPTION:
African Lodge offers upmarket Bed & Breakfast accommodation to the tourist or business person in Buccleuch, the undiscovered jewel of Sandton. Set on indigenous gardens, overlooking a sparkling pool, surrounded by an abundance of birdlife.
Welcome to the place where people come as guests and leave as friends!
If you are looking for peace, tranquility and a luxurious atmosphere we invite you to be our guest at the African Lodge, nestled in a leafy suburb north of Johannesburg (South Africa) and situated on a little piece of paradise in Buccleuch, the undiscovered jewel of Sandton, midway between the N1 (from Pretoria and Roodepoort / Cape Town), the N3 (from Durban and Johannesburg International Airport). This makes our Guest Lodge very well located for both the business person and the tourist who want the tranquility of the country and easy access to Sandton, Johannesburg, Woodmead, Midrand, Bryanston, Rivonia, Fourways, Sunninghill, Linbro Park and Pretoria.
Your hosts, Yvonne and Gerard van Schendel invite you to share their little paradise. Yvonne and Gerard came from Holland to live in South Africa in 1996 and are therefore well aware of European standards and hospitality.
The safe property (with electric fence) is set on 4.000 m2 indigenous gardens, overlooking a sparkling pool, surrounded by an abundance of bird life. The whole atmosphere at African Lodge is heartfelt, friendly and highly luxurious. Awake to the calls of the birds and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast in our Dining Room with double opening doors overlooking the garden, the pool and the fishpond. Stroll in the gardens and enjoy the fresh air and peace of the country, whilst only ten minutes away of Sandton, South Africas premier business and entertainment centre, as well as Sandton City shopping centre. Return from a busy day in the city and relax over a cool drink at our Bar, with the tinkling sound of the water from the fishpond in the background.
