Your hosts, Sue and John, are passionate about both South Africa and our guests. A Rose Cottage has convenient access to the N1, R21 and N4 freeways and is just 40 minutes from OR Tambo airport. We are close to malls, restaurants, hospitals, gyms and golf courses. It is a quick 15 minutes to the CBD as well as UNP and UNISA. We are easily accessible, with secure parking, 24 hour security response and neighbourhood watch. AccommodationWe offer unique self-catering accommodation in fully equipped, air conditioned units with Wifi access. Full breakfast or dinner is available by arrangement. Our rooms are spacious and they all have separate entrances. You are welcome to make use of our beautiful rose garden, for a braai. A sparkling swimming pool is available for your use. We are happy to offer you general assistance with tour arrangements, airport shuttles, and more. We offer 3 self-catering units: Lady Rose, Eden Rose, and Ribbon Rose Lady Rose Is a ground floor flat-let with separate bedroom from the lounge / kitchenette area. Ribbon Rose Is a first floor unit with a shower, double sleeper couch and a stunning view over Pretoria. Eden Rose Is a first floor unit with a shower/ bath combo, double sleeper couch with a view of the garden. A full English or continental breakfast is available on request as well as dinner by arrangement. This can be served in the unit. For the guests leaving early a packed breakfast can be arranged. LaundryWe are happy to do guest laundry of a normal daily amount at their own risk, or there is a laundry room on the premises. DIRECTIONS: From the N1: Travelling south (from Polokwane) take the Atterbury off ramp, turn left into Atterbury and continue as below: Travelling north (from Jo’burg) take the Atterbury off ramp, turn right over the N1 and continue as below: • In Atterbury Road continue until you reach Hans Strydom Road • Turn left into Hans Strydom, continue to the second set off traffic lights, intersection of Olympus Road • Turn right into Olympus Road continue around the first circle taking the 3rd exit Skukuza Road (follow the tourism boards) • Continue in Skukuza Road to the second left into Soekmekaar Street • We are situated on the left – with the sign Rose Cottage on the wall From the R21 (OR Tambo International Airport): Take the R21 to the N1 North exit Then Follow the N1 instructions above From the N4: From the N4 east take the Hans Strydom off ramp and continue as below From the N4 west take the Hans Strydom off ramp, go over the N4 and continue as below: • Continue to the second set of traffic lights, the intersection with Olympus Road • Take the Hans Strydom off ramp, continue past Makro to the Lynwood intersection • Turn left into Olympus Road continue around the first circle taking the 3rdexit Skukuza Road • Continue in Skukuza Road to the second left into Soekmekaar Street • We are situated on the left – with the sign Rose Cottage on the wall MAP: Available at: http://www.sa-venues.com/visit/arosecottage/map.php |
