There are strong indications that early man has wandered around in the streams and sat in the shade of the bushes of Melville Koppies are far back as 1.4 million years ago. Today Melville Koppies is a nature reserve and the many foot paths and spectacular views make it a favourite destination for hikers. We strive to offer our guests safety and security in a tranquil homely environment and to enhance Melville as one of Johannesburg’s’ prime tourist attractions. At 7th Street Guest House every guest is provided with a personal tailored service including a home made breakfast with lunch and dinners available on request.
