Accommodation42 on Fifth Street has recently been renovated to provide style and comfort at an affordable price. Inside the main house, we have 3 en suite bedrooms offering privacy and comfort whether you are on business or visiting Johannesburg on holiday. We have preserved the pressed steel ceilings and polished wooden floors that typify the older original homes in the tree-lined northern suburbs of Johannesburg. The garden suite is spacious and offers versatile accommodation for couples or families travelling with children. There is a fully fitted kitchen adjacent to the suite for those who are looking for a self-catering option. FacilitiesAfter your full day of sightseeing or business, relax in our comfortable lounge - there is a fire provided on chilly winter evenings. We have a compact, pretty garden and a pool where you can cool off on hot Johannesburg days. Breakfast & DiningBreakfasts are served in the airy dining area which opens out onto the pool on sunny days, or which can be enclosed on cooler days, still allowing you to enjoy the garden. For lunch and dinner options, there are wonderful restaurants in Parkhurst and the surrounding suburbs. Please ask us for personal recommendations for some favourite local eateries. There are also a number of take-away options, many of whom offer free delivery. Private dining can be arranged on request. Meetings / ConferencesWe have a meeting room which seats up to 8 people and can be reserved by arrangment; catering can be provided on request. Trendy restaurants in the nearby 4th Avenue shopping street offer a range of options to suit varying tastes and budgets.
