Orchardview is a magnificent old colonial home, set in the heart of the Gamtoos River Valley, en route to the Baviaanskloof in the Eastern Cape. This delightful property is situated on a working Citrus farm just 3 kilometers outside Patensie.

Patensie is world renowned for export Citrus products and potato farming. The town is only an hours drive from Port Elizabeth, close to Jeffreys Bayand St Francis Bay and the last stop before entering the Megareserve of the Baviaanskloof.

Come and experience the tranquil country life at Orchardview with its breathtaking views of the Valley and true South African hospitality. Owned by Eppie and Lande Ferreira, this well-loved and cared-for B&B will make you want to return to the Gamtoos Valley again and again.

ACCOMMODATION


There are 3 types of accommodation on offer:

The Farmhouse (Dinner,B&B or B&B or Self-Catering)
A beautifully furnished farmhouse with 4 bedrooms (2 en suite). All bedrooms have satellite TV and 100% cotton bedding. Main bedroom with air-conditioner. The farmhouse-style kitchen is fully equipped with a built in fire place. The living area is cosy with a huge fireplace for the cold winter nights. Breakfast and sundowners are served on the huge patio overlooking the orchards.

The Cottage (Dinner, B&B or B&B or Self-Catering)
A spacious, cosy cottage sleeps 4 people. The cottage consist of a living area with fully equipped kitchenette and built-in braai, satellite TV, air conditioner, 1 separate bedroom and bathroom. Watch the sun setting over the Valley from the patio also with built-in braai.

Log Cabins (Dinner, B&B or B&B)
Two log cabins with magnificent views. Each with own bathroom, satellite TV, ceiling fan and tea tray. This type of accommodation is ideal for the weary businessman or tourist looking for affordable overnight accommodation.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES


Conference facilities for 16 people are available.
