DESCRIPTION:

Hidden within the cavernous bushveld of the Eastern Cape, a 2 hour drive from Port Elizabeth, it is here, where the evening's silence is broken by the howl of the Black-Backed Jackal and the Francolins’ calls herald each new dawn. Here you will find the luxurious Kuzuko Lodge with uninterrupted views. Kuzuko is located on a private section of the Addo Elephant National Park, third largest national park in South Africa. The lodge is located in a malaria-free region.

Accommodation


Kuzuko has 24 chalets, with astonishing valley views and the back drop of the Zuurberg Mountain from each bedroom. Each of our luxurious chalets has twin beds, and the facilities required by today’s traveller, including hairdryers, minibar, electronic safe, en suite bathroom, which offers a stunning view while taking a relaxing bath. Every room has a plasma flat screen television, internet access and a telephone. Wake up to an African sunrise, while sipping coffee on your private deck.

Kuzuko Lodge is fully wheelchair accessible and it offers three chalets with special facilities.
There is a sofa bed in the room; Baby cots are available on request.

Game viewing


At night let the “Sky Rangers” enhance your nature experience with cosmic safaris from our deck using our eight inch telescope. With unforgettable morning and night game drives experience the diverse wildlife on our big 5 reserve.

Facilities


The recreation facilities include a dining room, bar, lounge and a deck over looking the valleys. Relax at the family swimming pool, be spoiled at the wellness centre, take home memories with the purchase of a cap, or review your photos in the business centre.

Conferencing


The conference facilities over look the back drop Zuurberg Mountains. The conference room is fully air conditioned, and is wall to wall carpeted, with window to window curtains.

DIRECTIONS:

From Port Elizabeth
Proceed from Port Elizabeth on the road to Grahamstown and Cradock (N2). Take the Cradock road through Paterson and over the Oliphant’s Kop Pass (N10). Continuing on the N10 over Olifantskop Pass travel past the Annes Villa sign on the left hand side, approximately 13km further you will see a sign board that says "R400 Jansenville" on the left, take the turn off onto the dirt road. From here the sign boards to Kuzuko are periodical with the first one approximately 20km along the dirt road. Continue following the Kuzuko sign boards. The Kuzuko Gatehouse Reception is located on the left hand side of the road, drive into the allocated parking bay. Transfer to the lodge will be via a game vehicle with your vehicle safely parked at the reception.
