The guest house is situated no more than 400m from the popular Pollock Beach. A short walk takes you to beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants, with the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Complex, the Port Elizabeth Airport, Golf, Diving, Yachting, the Bayworld Oceanarium and Snake Park and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, only minutes away. AccommodationSet in tranquil surroundings, a sparkling pool and tropical gardens lead to the individually decorated en suite rooms, all with their own private entrances and patios. Kingfisher Guest House has eight rooms with either double, queen or king size beds. Twin beds (two single beds in a room) are available on request. Two of our units have sleeper couches, allowing for up to four persons to be accommodated in a single unit. Seaview Game and Lion Park and Kragga Kamma Game Park are a mere 20 minutes drive from the guest house, whilst Addo Elephant National Park, Shamwari Game Reserve, Lalibela Game Reserve and Schotia Safaris Private Game Reserve are about an hour’s drive away. DIRECTIONS: From the N2 From the N2 take the 751B off ramp onto the M4 Settlers Freeway. Follow the Beachfront/Summerstrand signs, keeping the sea on your left at all times. This will take you to Beach Drive, which later becomes Marine Drive. Pass Shark Rock Pier, Beach Hotel, Marine Hotel and Pick'nPay Centre, Turn right into 11th Avenue. Then turn right into Brighton Drive at the four-way stop. Kingfisher Guest House is the third house on your left hand side. From the Airport From the airport parking area, turn right into Allister Miller Drive. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right and continue with Allister Miller Drive, which then becomes La Roche Drive. Drive down La Roche Drive until you reach the main beachfront. Turn right into Beach Drive (this later becomes Marine Drive). Pass Shark Rock Pier, the Beach Hotel, Marine Hotel and Pick'nPay Centre. Turn right into 11th Avenue. Then turn right into Brighton Drive at the four-way stop. Kingfisher Guest House is the third house on your left hand side.
