DESCRIPTION:

King George's Guest House is classified as an up market, three star-graded guesthouse, situated in the exclusive Millpark suburb in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. Centrally located with easy access to the airport, beach, golf courses, Greenacres and the city centre. The house has been lovingly restored with the original Oregon pine doors and stained glass windows.

Step back in time into the Olde world charm of an English Country Inn. King George's Guest House has often been referred to as the "Grand Old Lady of Yesteryear". She was built in 1915 and has been perfectly maintained over the years. Relax in the atmosphere of this beautiful Tudor style home with it's artistic woodwork, stained leaded glass windows and heavily beamed Oregon ceilings.

Whether you are a visiting business person, a holidaymaker seeking peace and tranquillity, or just a tired traveller, you will find your stay most memorable.

Guests are welcomed into this impressive home by the Chantlers and have exclusive use of the elegant lounge areas, honesty bar, pool and braai area in the superb garden with beautiful cycads. Full English breakfasts are served in the dining room and dinners upon request are very popular with business people. Secure parking and within five minutes drive from the airport, beaches, golf courses, Greenacres shopping complex, hospitals and a brisk walk to St George's park and excellent restaurants.
