What to do while at Bydand
A sparkling swimming pool, a stones throw from the bedroom doors, is there for your enjoyment. Laze beside it on a pool lounger, or cool off with a refreshing swim after a day of sightseeing or game viewing. Guests are free to walk about on the farm as they wish. Pick your own juicy export quality oranges in season!

Feeling more adventurous! Tour the farm on a quad-bike. Enjoy the blossom in spring time. Watch the pickers at work during harvest time. Splash through the river - prepare to get wet! Ride through a private game garm on a quad-bike and get really close to nature.
Attractions & Activities
Tour the Sundays River Citrus Company’s packhouse during the picking season and see how the fruit is washed, waxed, sorted and packed for export. The Addo Raptor and Reptile Centre is close by and well worth a visit. Paddle down the Sundays River in a canoe and marvel at the abundant birdlife!
Visit one of the other nearby Game Parks such as Schotia Safaris, where you will enjoy a typical South African meal served in their boma, or Amakhala. Both are unique and offer wonderful day trips. Ride amongst the animals in the Elephant Park on horseback.
Drive to the Zuurberg Mountains (+-25km) and ride on an elephant. Visit Daniell African Crafts and learn about their cheetah breeding program. You can even touch the tame cheetahs!
