Arum Guest House is situated on Kenyon Crescent, Bonnie Doon located in an up market and safe residential suburb. Being a stroll away from East London’s premier golf club, Nahoon beach, the gateway to the Wild Coast as well as five minutes drive from the city, Beacon Bay and sport amenities, makes Arum House the perfect choice for your accommodation in East London.

Accommodation


All our six rooms are luxuriously finished and have modern en-suite, fully equipped bathrooms, heated towel rails, bar fridge and microwave. Each of the rooms are equipped with flat screen TV’s with DSTV channels, king size beds in most rooms, WIFI internet connection, air conditioner, safe, tea and coffee (ground coffee with plunger included) and each room has its own private entrance. There is no charge for the use of WIFI Internet connection.

Enjoy a peaceful sleep knowing that the bed, the linen as well as the soft and fluffy white towels are of the finest quality. The curtains are specially made to block out light and external noise should you choose to have an afternoon nap.

Facilities


Arum Guest House is located in a quiet residential area with no traffic noise, has a private entrance with a 2.5 m solid perimeter wall and electronic access card control to ensure your piece of mind.

Two lounges are available for the convenience of the guests. One lounge is located on ground floor with a built in fireplace and a flat screen TV; the other is located upstairs and can be utilized as a meeting room and/or reading room. A small meeting room for up to 10 delegates can be arranged on request.

Dining


We offer you a delicious full cooked breakfast, choices of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, cheese, jams, muffins and toasts etc. Freshly blended ground coffee is served with each breakfast.

The Bonnie Doon and Berea area caters for a wide variety of take-away foods with the Spar Deli (open until 21h00), a Chinese restaurant, and La Petite Restaurant (one of the best a la carte restaurants in town) only located walking distance (50m) from the Guest House.

We would be happy to make restaurant reservations for you. Should you prefer to braai, we will supply the firewood, utensils and cutlery that you would require. On request, the braai can be facilitated for you. Lunchboxes can be arranged for you on request.

DIRECTIONS:

From KWT / Umtata N2 take the North East Expressway towards the Eeast London Airport.
Take the Pearce Street off-ramp and turn left into Pearce.
Follow the road as it turns to the left and becomes Old Transkei Road.
At the 2nd traffic light turn right into Beach Road.
After the open field on the left and the NFB Building turn left into Schultz Road.
Turn right into the 2nd street (Worral)to a T-Junction.
Our signage will be visible on the left.
