Whistlewood Guest House is delightful historic small guest house in Walmer, Port Elizabeth. It's blessed with high ceilings, stained glass windows, and double backed fire places and has been restored to offer intimate unique and modern accommodation entwined with historic charm to offer guests a memorable stay.
Accommodation
Whistlewood House and Garden Cottage is a beautifully restored Historic Victorian guest house offering a unique blend of vintage charm and modern Africana style. Situated in leafy Walmer, the main house is one of the oldest farmsteads in the area and is distinguished by its high ceilings, stained-glass windows, and double-backed fireplaces. The property offers a choice of five individually furnished en-suite rooms, accommodating between two and four guests. Each room features a queen size extra-length bed and a shower-only bathroom, with all linen and bath towels provided.
In-room comforts include a work-friendly desk, TV with Netflix and YouTube streaming, unlimited Wi-Fi, coffee and tea facilities, electric blankets, hypoallergenic linen, and a sitting area, with select rooms offering additional touches such as bathrobes. Daily cleaning is provided.
