Victoria Bay Holiday Cottage is a freestanding pet-friendly holiday house which sleeps five guests very comfortably. The main bedroom has sea views and is furnished with a Queen-size bed plus dressing table. There is a sliding door leading onto the undercover balcony. The second bedroom has a tri-bunk bed (double at bottom, single at top) and garden views, plus writing desk. The two rooms share an interleading bathroom with spacious walk-in shower, toilet and hand basin. The lounge is equipped with a comfortable L-shape couch, large wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV with Dstv app and has a door leading onto the undercover balcony. The indoor dining area is open-plan with the lounge and has a six seater table. On the outdoor, undercover balcony is an additional 5 seater dining table, comfortable couches plus a Kol Kol wood fired hot-tub / splash pool. The garden is spacious and fully enclosed. The balcony leads down to a large sundeck with sunloungers and portable BBQ/Braai. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering purposes and includes a gas and electric stove top, electric oven, coffee making machine, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a washing machine outside the kitchen door, undercover. The cottage has an alarm with armed response. Wifi is included.

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

Can I pay the deposit at month end?

That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

What is 3D Secure?

This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
