Thalassa's can accommodate six guests in two bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and two single beds. These two rooms share the use of the main en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are requested to bring their own beach towels. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer, induction stove, convection oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a dishwasher for convenience. The lounge is open plan and furnished with a huge, comfy couch and a large smart TV. The patios in front and at the back have outdoor seating space and guests have access to braai facilities. Parking is available on site. No parties/events/stag nights/hen parties are allowed. The large backyard has a lovely garden and is fully fenced and pet friendly.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
