Strandhaus is a coastal holiday home in the picturesque village of Paternoster, offering comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests. This spacious home is ideal for families or groups seeking a relaxing escape along the West Coast. It has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, spread over the house (3 bedrooms) and adjoining flatlet (2 bedrooms).

Self-Catering Accommodation

The main house features a generous loft-style bedroom upstairs, furnished with twin beds. On the ground floor, there are two additional bedrooms, each fitted with a double bed. Two of the three bedrooms include private en-suite bathrooms with a shower and toilet, while the third bedroom is serviced by a separate bathroom, also equipped with a shower and toilet.

An open-plan layout connects the fully equipped kitchen and welcoming lounge area, where guests can enjoy the warmth of an indoor fireplace. The lounge flows seamlessly onto a large, enclosed patio, perfect for leisurely mornings or sunset gatherings.

An interleading safety gate separates the main house from the adjoining flatlet, which adds further flexibility to the accommodation. The flatlet includes an open-plan kitchen and lounge, a twin bedroom on the ground floor, and a loft area with a double bed upstairs. These rooms share a single bathroom located on the lower level.

Paternoster lies approximately 150 km north of Cape Town along the R27, and just 15 km from Vredenburg. Its enduring charm, pristine beaches, and spectacular seasonal wildflower displays make it a much-loved destination for weekend getaways. The surrounding region’s remarkable biodiversity and high rate of endemic flora attract nature lovers and botanical enthusiasts from far and wide.
