Thank you Ursula for a very comfortable stay under very trying conditions with load shedding.I was still able to keep warm with all the gas facilities and be able to have meals with having a gas stove.The whole cottage was very clean and comfotable.I will definitely return when I make another trip to Joburg.

We stayed for five days and we really had a good time. Ursula is a wonderful host and makes your stay memorable. The cottage is spotlessly clean, very well equipped including an inverter which means the in SA ever present load shedding is no threat here. We loved the area in the garden where we could enjoy breakfast in the sun or have a sundowner later in the evening. The cottage is also very conveniently located. From a quiet neighbourhood you walk only five minutes to 4th Ave where you'll find restaurants & shops galore. If you want to go for a walk, the neighbourhood is perfect for that as well. Big trees offering shade and wide roads are perfect for a stroll. Emmerantia Botanical Gardens is only a short drive away.

Ursula's place is excellent value for the money. It is nicely decorated, very clean and in a wonderful location, just steps from groovy 4th Avenue with the funky shops and fine restaurants. Ursula is attentive, very friendly, and just a lovely host. We so enjoyed our stay with Ursula!

Larger than normal for a cottage with separate doors between the living area and bedroom and again between bedroom and bathroom. Friendly hosts who went the extra yard to ensure I could have internet and power during load-shedding. No TV as expected; large fridge/freezer, large table to work on. Safe road, garage parking, close to restaurants, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Ursula's place. It was spotlessly clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. Ursula is a great host and her place is highly recommended.

We enjoyed your accommodation tremendously and look forward to returning to Parkhurst, Gauteng in the future. Your tips on local activities and site seeing were beyond amazing (Wish we had more time to do everything you recommended).

Ursula and her husband Peter were simply amazing. I came in under the weather and Ursula went out of her way to make me a few cups of tea in the mornings for my throat. It felt very cozy and the bed always made it difficult to get up in the morning because of its incredible comfort. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Joburg.

This is such a lovely and very beautiful home, in a very safe place. I would recommend this place anytime. Also, Ursula has been by far the best host l have seen to date and she is very helpful.
