About Merindol Manor
Situated in the Swartland town of Riebeek West, Merindol Manor is one of the oldest houses in the Valley. The house was renovated by the previous owners and the stunning gardens were created by a local nursery.
We have olive and fruit trees and grow vegetables. Our aim is to offer homemade produce to our guests; yoghurt, pancakes and French toast. Our hens produce free range eggs for homemade cookies and breakfast.
Accommodation
All rooms at Merindol Manor have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Views of the mountain, pool or garden are highlights from some of the rooms. Each en-suite room includes complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer and free WiFi is available throughout the Guest House.

Location & Experiences
Visit the Vineyards for Wine Tasting including Allesverloren Estate Wines, Het Vlock Casteel, and Kloovenburg Wine and Olive Estate. The Cape of Good Hope and Noordhoek, (try The Foodbarn Restaurant). Chapman's Peak Drive.
Visit the town of Darling and the Evita se Perron cabaret theatre and restaurant. Enjoy a craft beer from the Darling Microbrewery. Beautiful beaches which includes Bloubergstrand (45 minutes). Hiking and Mountain Biking.

The elegant Chenin Room is a spacious 48m bedroom with its own private patio that leads on to the manicured gardens of the Manor with views towards the majestical Saronsberg mountains. The Groot Winterhoek mountains is snowcapped in winter and will greet you as you peep through the wooden sash windows. The room has a four-poster canopy queen-size bed dressed with fresh white cotton linen, a TV, bar fridge, safe, hairdryer and an espresso machine for that early morning cappuccino while seeing the sun rise from your own patio. The over-sized bathroom with its notable free standing copper bathtub makes the Chenin Room everyone’s darling.
