About Map's View Guest House
Boasting panoramic views of the Kliprivierberg Nature Reserve, Map's View is a self catering holiday home. The property is situated in the south of Johannesburg in the suburb of Glenvista. The place is snuggled high above the hills, offering panoramic views of the Klipriversberg Nature Reserve.
Self Catering Accommodation
The Guesthouse is a four sleeper self-catering unit. It is a cottage-style house set at the back of the main property. It is very private and secluded and offers its own gardens.
Facilities such as the swimming pool and jacuzzi are not shared with other guests, they are for your exclusive use for the entire stay.
The house has a main bedroom fitted with a queen-size bed and pure cotton linen. The second bedroom consist of two single beds. Both bedrooms have ample cupboard spaces.
The spacious lounge has a sleeper couch and additional comfortable couches where you can sit and watch satellite TV entertainment or just relax with a book or simply enjoy the ambiance of delicate luxury. The bathroom has a bath and a shower, and fitted with a ceiling heat lamp for the oddly cool nights.
The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs. A braai facility and the cosy patio lead you to beautiful cascading gardens where you can enjoy pure nature and the sound and sight of several bird species
The facilities include a Jacuzzi, swimming pool, all garden spaces, auto washing machine and children's play area such as the jungle gym and trampoline. Please inform the host in advance (before check in) if you are going to make use of the Jacuzzi (It takes a while to heat up).
Facilities
The garden at Map's View has a Jacuzzi as well as a viewing deck which offers a space to relax and unwind. There is a swimming pool and a play area for children. The garden has a variety of succulents and blended lush greens as well as trees and a rockery.
