Area Information

Bergvliet originally formed part of a large Constantia farm. There's an old Cape Dutch farmhouse tucked away in this suburb. It retains a leafy feel with several very good schools and hospitals in the area.

It is just far enough out of Cape Town to feel relaxed but within easy drive of all the tourist attractions to the north (Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Gardens) and to the south (False Bay beaches, Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope). Constantia Winelands are very close by and well worth a visit.
