L'Escalier Cabanas 308 is an air-conditioned apartment that can accommodate up to six guests and is comprised of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. This room has sliding doors opening to the balcony. The second bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. These two rooms share a bathroom fitted with a bath, a toilet and a basin. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, kettle and a toaster. The dining area has an eight seater dining table and chairs and the lounge is comfortably furnished and includes a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels. Sliding doors open to a balcony with sea views. Fibre Wi-Fi is provided.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
